Return Policy

1. General Conditions

1.1. Cancellation by the User

a. Bookings without prepayment (14 days or less before the tour)

  • The User may cancel or reschedule the tour by sending a message via WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • The User is kindly asked to inform the Guide as early as possible so that the time slot can be offered to other guests.
  • If the User does not show up and does not inform the Guide in advance, the Guide reserves the right to refuse future bookings from this User.

b. Bookings with prepayment (more than 14 days before the tour)

  • A prepayment of 35 percent is made by bank transfer to the Guide’s professional euro account and secures the selected date.
  • The User may cancel and receive a full refund of the prepayment if the cancellation is made within 48 hours after the prepayment has been made.
  • After 48 hours, the date is considered confirmed and the prepayment becomes non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling after 48 hours is possible only subject to availability and at the Guide’s discretion. The prepayment remains non-refundable.

1.2. Cancellation by the Guide

  • If the Guide cancels the tour or photoshoot for any reason, the User will receive a full refund of any prepayment already made or will be offered the option to reschedule to another available date.

1.3. Non-refundable expenses

  • The cost of tickets, permits, or additional expenses pre-arranged with the Guide is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

2. Service Delivery and Refund Eligibility

2.1. A service is considered delivered once the tour or photoshoot begins. After the service has started, no refunds will be issued.

2.2. If the User fails to arrive at the designated meeting point on time and has not informed the Guide in advance, the service is still considered delivered and no refund is provided.

3. Refund Processing

3.1. Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method or by bank transfer, depending on how the prepayment was made.

3.2. Refund amounts do not include transaction fees or bank charges applied by payment providers.

3.3. If you do not receive your refund within 14 business days, please contact us at help@paris-local.com and include your booking number, cancellation date, and the email address used for the booking.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

4.1. A refund of a non-refundable prepayment may be considered in exceptional cases, such as:

  • Major transportation disruptions that prevent the User from reaching the meeting point (supporting documents required).
  • Serious medical emergencies that make participation impossible (doctor’s note required).
  • Government-imposed restrictions that prevent the tour from taking place.

5. Chargeback Abuse Prevention

5.1. Unauthorized chargebacks initiated after the service has been provided will be disputed with the payment provider, and evidence of service delivery will be submitted.

6. Governing Law

6.1. This Return Policy is governed by the laws of France.

6.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
