Return Policy

1. General Conditions

1.1. Cancellation by the User

a. Full-Payment Bookings

  • The User may cancel or reschedule their booking up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time and will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable, but the User may still request a change of date or time subject to availability.

b. €15-Deposit Bookings

  • The €15 deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Any cancellation—whether made more than 48 hours or less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time—results in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • To change the date or time, the User must submit a new booking and pay a new €15 deposit.

1.2. Cancellation by the Guide:

  • If the Guide cancels the tour or photoshoot for any reason, the User will receive a full refund.

1.3. Non-refundable Expenses:

  • The cost of tickets, permits, or additional expenses pre-arranged with the Guide is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

2. Service Delivery & Refund Eligibility

2.1. A service is considered delivered once the tour or photoshoot begins. After that, no refunds will be issued.

2.2. If the User fails to arrive at the designated meeting point on time, the service is still considered delivered, and no refund will be provided.

3. Refund Processing

3.1. Refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.

3.2. Refund amounts do not include transaction fees charged by payment providers.

3.3. If you do not receive your refund within 14 business days, please contact us at help@paris-local.com with your booking number, cancellation date, and email used for the booking.

4. Special Circumstances

4.1. A refund may be considered for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour/photoshoot in exceptional cases, such as:

  • Transportation disruptions preventing the User from reaching the meeting point (evidence required).

  • Medical emergencies making participation impossible (doctor’s note required).

  • Government-imposed restrictions preventing the tour from taking place.

5. Chargeback Abuse Prevention

5.1. Unauthorized chargebacks made after the service has been provided will be disputed with the payment provider.

6. Governing Law

6.1. This policy is governed by the laws of France.

6.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
