1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the relationship between the Guide (Vadim Sotropa), registered as an Auto-entrepreneur in France (SIRET 84291296600012), and the User, who books and participates in private tours or photoshoots through paris-local.com.
1.2. By booking a service on this Website, the User confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.
1.3. The Guide reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Website.
2. Services
2.1. The Guide offers private walking tours and photoshoots in Paris, focusing on historical storytelling, local culture, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems.
2.2. Each service includes a detailed description, duration, and price, which are available on the Website.
3. Booking & Payment
3.1. All bookings must be made through the booking form on the Website.
3.2. Users may choose one of two payment options:
• Full payment online: pay the total when booking; no further payment on the day.
• €15 deposit online: secure your spot with €15 (deducted from your total); pay the remainder on site in euros (cash) or by card/mobile (CB, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa/Visa Electron, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). The €15 deposit is non-refundable.
3.3. Payments are processed securely via the payment systems available on the Website.

4. Cancellation & Refunds
4.1. Full-payment bookings may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the start time for a full refund; within 48 hours, no refund is given but date/time changes may still be requested (subject to availability).
4.2. €15-deposit bookings: the €15 deposit is never refundable or transferable. Any cancellation—before or after 48 hours—results in loss of the €15. To change date/time you must make a new reservation and pay a new €15 deposit.
4.3. If the Guide cancels the service due to unforeseen circumstances, the User will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. User Responsibilities
5.1. The User must provide accurate information during booking.
5.2. The User must arrive on time at the designated meeting point.
5.3. The User must follow local laws and respect public order during the tour.
6. Liability & Disclaimer
6.1. The Guide is not liable for:
User delays or no-shows.
Lost or stolen personal belongings during the tour/photoshoot.
External factors such as weather conditions, transport delays, or third-party issues.
6.2. Participation in the tours is at the User’s own risk.
6.3. The Guide is not liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions, or public health emergencies.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All materials on the Website (texts, images, tour routes, etc.) are protected by copyright laws.
7.2. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of content is strictly prohibited.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
8.1. The Guide collects only necessary personal data for booking and customer service.
8.2. Personal data is processed in compliance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
8.3. Users have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their data.
